During my recent stay at Born Free, I was impressed with the perfect location of the hostel. It was situated on a quiet street close to the main road and street food, making it convenient for exploring and trying local delicacies. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring that I felt safe and taken care of throughout my stay. The hostel also had multiple lounge areas where I could relax and sort out my belongings. Additionally, I appreciated the presence of Sebs Bar next door, offering good value drinks and a small menu.

I had such a fabulous time staying at Born Free Hostel. It was too good to be true! Best price in the area, plus great taste. It's the cleanest, comfiest, and cheapest hostel I've ever stayed in. the owner and staff are lovely people who really care about their customers. They provide excellent recommendations, and even take guests wakeboarding and climbing. I've stayed here every time I come to this city, and I'll definitely be returning. Excited to stay here again!

The vibes here are absolutely unreal! From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of a crazy, fun-loving family. It's like a home away from home, with friendly and welcoming staff available 24/7. And let's talk about the location - quiet yet close to everything! Oh, and the cafe across the street serves the most mouthwatering pad thai and smoothies for unbelievably cheap prices. This place is a paradise for solo travelers!

Loved the "relaxed" atmosphere and the "convenient amenities" like free WiFi. The "local cuisine" at the onsite restaurant was a treat. Great opportunity to "mingle" with other guests. Just perfect!
Oh, and let's not forget the fabulous "double bed divided only by a thin blind" – so cozy and private.

This hostel is located in a prime area, close to the riverboat pier and near Khao San Road, offering the best of both worlds , easy access to attractions but without the noise. the rooms are clean and the bathrooms are well, maintained. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing useful information and assisting with travel arrangements. the common areas are cozy and inviting, perfect for socializing and meeting fellow travelers.
The attitude of one staff member regarding early check, in was less than welcoming.

What a mind-blowing place! The owners, an adorable couple, are the absolute best! They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and even join in on activities like movie nights. Plus, there's Peanut, the cutest grumpy cat ever. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the old city. Highly recommend this spot with 100% satisfaction!

I recently stayed at Born Free for my Bangkok trip and it quickly became one of my favorite places to stay. The location is perfect, with Khao San Road and a pier nearby for easy exploring. The dorm had powerful AC and comfy beds, and the hostel staff, especially the owner, were incredibly kind and helpful. Free guitars in the lobby added a fun touch, and the fruit salad breakfast was worth every baht.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

The friendly staff really made my stay enjoyable. They were always available to help and gave me great recommendations for sightseeing. the common area was cozy and a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Plus, the location was great - just a short walk away from a popular area with lots of attractions and nightlife.
That the toilets and showers were in the same area, so sometimes the floors would get wet. the AC in the rooms only ran at specific times, so it could get quite hot during the day.
